“Michael: The Last Photo Shoots” July 1, 2014
On June 25, 2014, Noval Williams Films filed an action (“Action”) in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (“Court”) for declaratory and other relief against John Branca and John McClain, Executors of the Estate of Michael J. Jackson (“Estate”).
The Action was commenced as a result of several letters sent to Noval Williams Films by attorneys for the Estate containing allegations and a cease and desist concerning certain Exploited Footage and/or Photographs contained in the newsworthy, historical, transformative and copyrighted documentary film entitled “Michael: The Last Photo Shoots” (“Picture”) owned by Noval Williams Films.
Noval Williams Films has a valid exclusive single picture license to exploit the Exploited Footage and its exploitation and/or planned exploitation of the Exploited Footage is within the scope of its licensing agreement. Noval Williams Films has valid licenses to exploit the Photos and its exploitation and/or planned exploitation of the Photos is within the scope of its licensing agreements. In seeking declaratory and other relief against the Estate, Noval Williams Films has endeavored to quickly resolve this dispute.
Craig Williams, the Picture’s director stated “[a]s a record producer and composer, I have been greatly influenced by Michael’s music and his message of love to the world. While it is terribly unfortunate that litigation with the estate is required in order for us to share our film with Michael’s fans, I am confident that we will be able to resolve this situation and Michael’s fans will soon be able see our wonderful and positive film.”

You would think the Estate would invest this type of time,energy and Michaels money on stopping all the negative documentaries, the showing of Michael Jacksons AUTOPSY for example??? NO!! They would rather leave the trash out there about Michael and remove the positive!!!
